Lost Vegas Game Information
The zombie genre has been around for years but in recent times it has seen a resurgence with TV shows like the Walking Dead and Z Nation proving to be hits with viewers. Fans of the genre are a dedicated horde with zombie marches taking place all over the world.
Even the pokie makers have gotten into the action with Aristocrat™ launching the official The Walking Dead™ pokie and now Microgaming introducing a zombie apocalypse to Las Vegas with the Lost Vegas pokie game.
Like all good zombie movies there are two sides on Lost Vegas - the Survivors and the Zombies. You can select from two game modes and play as either side. Apart from different graphics each game mode has a different free spin feature so you can choose which one you like better.
You have two ways of triggering the free spins. Either get at least three of the Biohazard scatters or get at least one on the screen when you win the random Blackout Bonus.
The Blackout Bonus is similar to the T-1000 feature on Terminator 2 in that it activates randomly and you are then awarded a credit prize for any of the character symbols (either zombies or survivors). If you have at least one scatter on the screen for the feature you also win the free spins.
The free spins are quite different depending on what game mode you're in. Your options are as follows,
Survivor Mode - Free Spins with Stash Feature
In this mode you start off with a stash of A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 symbols. At the end of each spin wins are paid and then the royal symbols award a cash prize and are removed. Any wins on the screen are then paid again. The feature continues until the stash is empty.
Zombie Mode - Free Spins with Infection Feature
During the Zombie Mode free spins stacked zombie symbols are added to the reels. If a whole stacked zombie is visible on a reel that reel becomes infected. Infected reels have stacks of wilds on them which can lead to big multi-way wins. The feature ends at 50 spins or when all reels are infected.
The final feature on Lost Vegas is the random Zombie Fist of Cash bonus. This can trigger at any time during regular play when you have a non winning spin and can award up to 20 times your bet.
